If I win the offering, what happens next?

Then read the Auction Closing Process very closely.

Re: You won!
It seemed like she was just asking questions, and I don't see that she did bid. She did not say, "I bid $50." She was asking what she would receive if she bid $50. And if she placed an "undecided bid" (and I don't see that she actually did), then that would just be confusing for everyone and I wouldn't see how that bid would count anyway.

Also, I understand that some second bidders would love a shot at the piece they missed out on, but I think it's also important to keep in mind that some people, when they see that they are losing a bid, bid on other items instead based on what they can and cannot afford. So just in general, hopefully "second winning bidders" are not obligated to send payment for a piece if they choose not to?

I'm not trying to stir anything up; I am just a bit confused. But yes, Monday is fine. Thank you for looking into it.

Re: You won!
I know what you mean. The mods discussed this offering in particular and we decided her bid was "official" as winning bidder.

The "second winning bidders" are not obligated to pay/donate if they don't want the item anymore. If they want, they have to donate the amount they bidded, not the amount of the winning bidder.

I promise that if this girl doesn't send us the confirmation of her donation by Monday, I'll contact you, okay? I got a notebook with all the Offerors and their winning bidder and second winning bidders, so I am going to pay extra attention to this case ;).

Re: You won!
I can't pretend that I'm not frustrated with this decision, but I understand that these things can be difficult so, yes, of course I will wait for the final word. I appreciate you paying close attention to this bid, and thanks for your work organizing this auction.

Re: You won!

tailoredshirt is right. I did not bid... I only wanted ask the question "what size picture I can get IF I bid $50" since that price is on PAPER and can be sent snail mail (fixed size) and not DIGITAL (many size in e-mail).

I'm sorry if I did the process incorrectly. I saw other people asking questions about prices/pieces directly in the auction threads so I thought it's ok to ask a question x_X.

Re: You won!
Sorry I realized I probably spammed up your inbox instead of the mod's :B! I sent them a message about it though so hopefully it will be cleared up. As far as I am concerned I agree with you in that I was only questioning. If I had made a bid I would've stated "I bid.." but it was too late to bid by the time I got back home.... so as far as I know I didn't bid?

I mean, I guess the mods have the final say so hopefully this isn't premature but I'd like to congratulate you for winning!

Re: You won!
Thank you for clearing this up! I have seen other people asking questions as well, so as far as I know that's allowed. :)

And thank you! ♥

Re: You won!
Okay, for some reason I, the artist, never got ANY of these comment notifications, nor ever heard from the mods about who won. Did you send in your donation? I never heard uh, anything. If you email me with a screencap at samurai.honey@gmail.com I'll get started on your piece. Sorry it's taken me so long to check back, but guh I really thought I would have heard from someone by now, plus the fact that I have just recovered from a serious illness, I've been really out of it for the last few weeks.

Re: You won!
I'm so sorry for answering you before! I was bussy with exams at college.

Anyways, that's not important now.

You winning bidder, tailoredshirt, donated! Do I send you a copy of the receipt of her donation?
